Neugebauer Announces Military Academy Appointees

WASHINGTON, DC—Congressman Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) announced students from the 19th Congressional District of Texas selected for admission to the U.S. service academies. 

“These students are the future leaders of our country,” Neugebauer said.  “Nominating them for admission to our service academies is one of my greatest privileges.”  Neugebauer praised the caliber of applicants this year.  “These are smart, driven students with exceptional leadership skills.  They will be a credit to our military and our nation.” 

Admission to the U.S. service academies is highly competitive, and a Congressional nomination is generally required to gain an appointment.  Students interested in attending a service academy in 2014 can visit to learn more about the process.  Applications are due by November 15, 2013.
